The project was completed over several weeks with content submitted on an ongoing basis (I also wrote many of the activities myself). To adapt to this style of working I developed a playful, simplified illustration style. This, in conjunction with the project’s typography, allowed me to ensure the book’s aesthetic was cohesive (and fun) throughout. I worked quickly beginning by sketching and laying everything out on paper, before finishing the illustrations using a Wacom tablet.
